THE BURN

Wood wicks create a distinctive flame and subtle crackle, but they require a little care to burn beautifully.

THE FIRST BURN

Allow the melted wax to reach the edges of the vessel before extinguishing your candle. Creating a full melt pool during the first burn helps encourage an even burn throughout the life of the candle.

TRIM BEFORE EACH BURN

Before relighting, gently remove the blackened, charred portion of the wood wick and trim to approximately 1/8 inch. A properly trimmed wood wick creates a more controlled flame and cleaner burn.

BURN BEAUTIFULLY

Burn for no more than 4 hours at a time. Keep the wax pool free from wick trimmings and debris, and always place your candle on a stable, heat resistant surface away from drafts.

WOOD WICK TIP

If the flame becomes low or has difficulty staying lit, extinguish the candle and allow it to cool. Gently remove the excess charred wood from the wick before relighting.

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children, pets, drafts, and flammable materials.
